What’s for dinner?

We're having Minsky's Pizza cater in some of KC's finest pies and salad. We'll have a variety of pizzas, including vegetarian, kid friendly and gluten free. We'll also have appetizers and desserts, and an open bar with select wines, craft beers and seltzers, as well as plenty of non-alcoholic drinks.

Are kids invited?

Yes! We'd love to party with your kiddos :)

Is there parking?

Yes! There is parking on Jefferson St, and a parking lot at the top of the hill on 26th St. You can get to the parking lot from Jefferson or Broadway.

Favorite spots in KC

Since a lot of guests will be coming in from out of town, we wanted to share with you some of our favorite hangout spots in Kansas City.

North of the River

Nick & Jake's in Parkville - They have great food and specials, and 3 locations across KC.

KC Sushi - Try the Lee's Summit roll and the spicy crab salad! You won't be disappointed.

Zona Rosa - Fun place to walk around and do some shopping and eating. Bravo is a favorite for drinks and appetizers, and DRAFTCADE for after drinks and arcarde games.

South of the River

Kansas City River Market - The City Market is a fun place to buy locally grown fruits and veggies, fresh flowers, funky trinkets and more. There are also a lot of great restaurants to try out.

Crossroads/First Fridays - Cool area with lots to see and do. First Fridays is a unique experience, with local art on display and neat places to eat and drink. Try Lulu's for Thai and Up-Down for pinball.

Kansas City Zoo - One of our favorite dates is to go on a picnic before going to the zoo or an aquarium. We started doing this when Josh planned an early date at the KC Zoo.

Country Club Plaza - This is the classic outdoor shopping and dining experience in Kansas City. Designer brands and local businesses with tons of great food and beverage options.

Our Love Story

We met in late Summer of 2005, and it was love at first sight! We started a friendship that lasted through all the Bent Left tours and bad boyfriends. Then we finally got the timing right in Spring of 2017 to start a real relationship, and we haven’t looked back since! We moved to Fort Myers, FL, at the end of 2019 and love living close to so many beaches and fun things to do.

Our dream wedding was originally scheduled for June 6th, 2020, but we had to cancel due to the pandemic. So on August 20th, we had a virtual ceremony on our lanai, with close friends and family watching on Zoom and our cat as our witness. Josh’s dad Michael and his wife Carol threw a garden party for us in California in October of 2020, and we all made wonderful memories.

We’ve been lucky to have some other special celebrations, too, but not with all our favorite people in one room. Now we can’t wait to make more memories with you on May 7th!
